Cultural Heritage
The temple's honzon (principal object of worship) is a Dainichi Nyorai made in the Edo period, but there is also a bronze Amida Buddha Triad Standing Statue in a hall on the temple grounds, which was designated as a National Important Cultural Property in 1959. The standing statue of Amida Nyorai in the style of Zenkoji Temple in Nagano Prefecture, thought to have been made in the late Kamakura period, is flanked by two attendant deities of Kannon and Seishi. It is open to the public once a year during the Gokaicho festival.
