Cultural Heritage
Similar to the Koshin-to monument on the site of Hachiman Ookami Shrine, there is a Koshin-to folk-belief stone monument inscribed with a four-armed statue of Shomen Kongo (Blue-Faced Vajra) accompanied by two monkeys. Seven Koshin-to monuments of this style have been found so far, all of which are scattered in the lower reaches of the Sagami River. Of the seven, this Koshin-to has the sixth oldest date inscription, making it an extremely valuable early Koshin-to inscribed with Shomen Kongo.
