Cultural Heritage
It is believed that the gorin-to stone pagodas were built one after another from the late Kamakura period to the early Nanbokucho period (the first half of the 14th century), but the origin of their construction remains unknown. While some stone parts were piled up again later, these are the largest gorin-to stone pagodas in the city, and a grouping of ten such large pagodas is rare in the prefecture.
