Cultural Heritage
The mokkan wooden tablets are in a variety of forms, from pieces of wood cut into strips to secondary use of tub bottoms or trays, and used for documentation and practice of calligraphy. There are also wooden tablets used as account ledgers for certain events. They are indispensable for understanding the history of the city, as they provide information on the period of creation and the actual conditions of the region.
